Page 1 of 5 International Day of Disabled People (IDDP)2012The date of Disability North's annual celebration of the International Day of Disabled People (IDDP) is the 18th December 2012 at The Sage Gateshead.
The event is being hosted in partnership with The Sage Gateshead and is sponsored by Dolphin Stairlifts and Irwin Mitchell and Muckle LLP:
We are pleased to announce that, after the incredible success of last year's event, we are again working with The Sage Gateshead. During the afternoon we will be having a series of workshops and presentations that will highlight the excellent creative work that is going on around the region for disabled people. This will be followed, in the evening, by celebratory performances by disabled people and disability inclusive groups. We are delighted to announce that Jonathan Miles from BBC Radio Newcastle will be hosting the evening event.
