The introduction of the Care Act was an historic piece of legislation, as it was the first overhaul of social care statute in England for more than 60 years, replacing many previous laws, legislation and practices.

The aim of the Act is to provide a clear structure to adult social care through the merging and updating of care and support law combined with the establishment of new responsibilities for local authorities and partners, and new rights for service users and carers.

However, we have all struggled with the conundrum of where it all fits together in the puzzle of prevention, integration and wellbeing across local authorities and partners.

So why not join us at the NAEP National Annual Conference 2016 where we will be unwrapping, with due care, the package that makes up the Care Act. Our esteemed speakers and presenters from the healthcare and associated sectors we will be aiming to help you unravel the mysteries and discover what it all means in relation to both the health and social care sectors.

Share your initiatives, experiences and any service re-development that enables you to comply with the Care Act.

We aim by the end of this conference to provide you with the insight to enable the better use of your resources in the face of ever rising demand, the guidance to provide a seamless health and social care service to the public, combined with an intuitive understanding of the relevant legal elements of the Act.

NAEP Conference 2016 has an educational based programme, committed to providing delegates with real solutions, evidenced based outcomes and sharing best practices, which is CPD accredited with the College of Occupational Therapists.

Demand is guaranteed to be high so to ensure your place at the Conference we recommend you book as soon as possible.  To view the Conference Programme and find out more about the conference visit the NAEP website by clicking here.
