Personal Assistants – AJNT

Pay Rates: Day and night waking PAs £14.25 – £15.25 per hour.  Sleep in £12.50 per hour

Hours: 9.00am – 5.00pm day and/or 5.00pm – 10.00pm evenings. Night waking/sleep in 10.00 pm – 9.00am

Location: North Tyneside Coast

 

Personal Assistants and Senior Personal Assistant required for special needs young gentleman.

Permanent full time and part time positions

 

Personal Assistant required (2-1 support 24/7) for a lively, adventurous young gentleman with complex needs, who has varied interests, a big personality and a  brilliant sense of humour. Wheelchair user (able to self-propel and transfer) highly communicative but non-verbal.

Responsibilities will include providing all aspects of personal care and support within the community and at home. Maintaining a clean and tidy home, preparing meals and administering medication.

Experience with moving and handling and experience with seizure management essential.

Must be able to follow care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans and complete daily notes, risk assessments and incident reports.

You must be a good communicator and have the ability to work as a team member.

He has his own car so drivers are preferred.
