Personal Assistant/Carer- HBYOR

Hours: 5 hours Saturday or Sunday (once a fortnight). Extra hours available

Pay: £14.00- £16.00 per hour

Area: Stockton on the Forest, York

 

We are looking for a second carer to join our family and help to expand our support network. We have a 7-year-old with physical and learning disabilities and are looking for someone to come and spend some time with him every other weekend.

He is the most affectionate, loving and happy child and a joy to be around. He has bags of energy and loves to play chase, swim, go for walks and to the park. We’re looking for someone who is naturally very caring and who likes to work with younger children, (cognitively he is operating more at the 18-month level). SEND experience would be nice but not essential.

We can flexible around you but are ideally looking for someone to come on either a Saturday or Sunday every two weeks for around 5 hours. Extra hours will be available, particularly in the school holidays, but there will be no expectation or pressure to take these.

 

This vacancy will close as soon as a suitable candidate is appointed.
