Bank Personal Assistant – ANBNCL

Hours: Flexible, as required to cover shifts within a 24/7 care schedule
Location: Walker Area, Newcastle upon Tyne
Wage: £13.60 per hour

 

About the Role:

About Me:
My name is Andrew, and I’m a 28-year-old wheelchair user based in the Walker area. I’m a passionate football fan and a loyal Sunderland AFC supporter. I also love watching soaps, socializing, and going out on nights out with friends. A good sense of humor and a positive outlook on life are qualities I truly value in the people around me.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respectful and professional personal care support.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Cover shifts as needed, including holidays, sickness, and additional requirements.
  • Accompany me on outings, social activities, and appointments.
  • Support with light household tasks when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice.
  • Physical ability to assist with mobility and transfers.
  • A genuine interest in building a positive and supportive working relationship.
