Reporting to: Direct Payment Employer

Location: Whitley Bay (but can be flexible and meet in Newcastle)

Hours of work: 6 hours per week flexible but will be weekends or evenings.

Rate of pay: £11.44 per hour

Job purpose

I am seeking a proactive and assertive Personal Assistant who can take the lead in organizing and planning various aspects of my personal life. Particularly, this includes helping me navigate dating and relationships as well as planning activities and outings, particularly when I’m unsure of what I want to do. I would like someone who can suggest places of events where young people go out and support me to become more confident and outgoing.

Planning in helping me navigate dating and relationships. The role is ideal for someone who is understanding, patient and skilled in communication and relationship building. Additionally, I am interested in travelling and exploring new places, So I would appreciate a travel companion who can help me with planning and organizing trips.

The ideal candidate would be self-confident and naturally encouraging; have a bubbly and positive personality who can support me in social situations to overcome my anxiety and help me to become more socially active. My goal is to have the self-confidence to try new experiences, visit new places and even to start dating. I am looking for someone who has the life skills and experience to help facilitate this.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Support: Assist in building my confidence in situations, particularly in dating and relationships with men. Offer guidance and encouragement to help me more outspoken and comfortable in conversations.

Communication Coaching:

Help me improve my communication skills, offering tips and advice on how to express myself more confidently and effectively.

Travel planning and companion:

Assist in planning trips and accompany me on travels outside the city. This includes researching destinations, bookings.

Qualities I’m looking for:

Understanding, empathic and patient with a positive attitude

Experience in personal development and coaching.

Strong communication skills

A love for travel and adventure, with the flexibility to accompany me on trips.

Discretion and professionalism in handling personal matters.

 

About the employer

I have Autism which sometimes affects the way I communicate, particularly in situations where people may not be familiar with how I process information. I occasionally find it challenging to communicate effectively with others who may not understand my communication style. I love art and going to theatres and going out for drinks in Newcastle. I love going to yoga and being outdoors.

Main duties:

You will support me to develop confidence in social situations, by supporting me to increase my social circle and support me to attend activities of my choosing. You will work with me to reduce anxiety in new situations.

Activities will include going to the pub and shopping
