Personal Assistant – JFNCL

Hours: 7 hours per week flexible in discussion with the employer

Rates of Pay: £13.80 per hour

Area: Byker, Newcastle.

Hi, my name is Jessica, I am a lady in my early 30`s and I live independently. I am very interested and active in the arts, crafts, photography, performance poetry and I like to go for walks. I am also interested in the world and have a strong sense of justice and equality. I am autistic and this impacts on my life and at times as I struggle emotionally and practically with daily tasks such as shopping, cleaning, budgeting, general housekeeping and attending appointments. I have good independency, but I need somebody similar to my age for social engagement and helping me to get on top of my finances and daily chores. I have a basic safety net, emotional regulation skills, and goals to work on.

It’s important for my PA to be firm and flexible with me. I would ideally like somebody with a good sense of humour who could share similar interests and would be a good fit for the role. You will be required to work at least once and a minimum of 4 hours per week. My Personal Assistance must be reliable and able to work flexible hours.  She must also be able to respect my privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of her work.

No formal experience is needed.

A DBS and references are required for this position.
