Female Personal Assistant (Holiday and Sickness Cover) – HRYOR Needed in Holgate

Location: Holgate, York

Hours: Minimum 60 hours per annum covering holiday with plenty of notice
Monday 10am – 3pm
Friday 10am – 4pm
Occasional shorter notice shifts to cover staff sickness

Rate: £13.50 per hour

Hi! I’m Hol – a funny and down to earth 34 year old with an Acquired Brain Injury and Complex Pain. I’m seeking out a cheerful calm and intuitive person to join our little team for holiday and sickness cover. As I’m largely independent physically, this role is about:
• Companionship
• Accessing the community
• Organisation

My hobbies include: Vegan cooking and baking, reading, writing, fashion and sewing, walking, gaming, and chess. I also enjoy periodically working in mental health support and at food festivals on summer weekends.

About the role/weekly responsibilities:
• No personal care
• Food shopping
• Visits to the pharmacy
• Batch cooking and baking!
• Accompaniment and note taking at medical appointments
• Help to change the bed/keep a tidy home
• Help with personal admin

Essential skills & qualities
• Driver’s licence and personal vehicle essential
• Must not smoke
• Must be female
•Openness to a vegan lifestyle
