Direct Payments Advisor

We are looking for a new team member to join our Direct Payment Team!

Ideally you will have lived experience of using Direct Payments either for yourself or a family member. However, experience is not essential as you will have full support from our experienced team, many of whom have lived experience and we will provide all the training that you will need.

We are looking for someone who can work from a person-centred perspective, enabling disabled people to have choice and control and providing the tools and advice to ensure they receive good support that they need and want.

You will have the ability to engage with people from a variety of backgrounds and practitioners from all sectors of the community. You will have the ability to work independently, as well as working as part of a team.
It is essential that you are committed to providing excellent customer care and good communication at all times.

The role is predominately office based, there is some flexibility for home working after a 6 months probation period or from day 1 as part of any reasonable adjustments.

Travel across the city will be required as we meet with people in their homes as well as community settings.
