Hours: Full time, 39 hours minimum (24-hour support)

Rate: £13.60 per hour
We are looking for caring, patient and reliable Care Assistants to join a small team providing 24-hour support to an adult male with an Acquired Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in his own home.
The role includes:
Personal care and support with daily living
Washing, dressing and meal preparation
Cleaning and laundry
Moving, handling, transferring and positioning
Supporting with bed and wheelchair transfers
Accompanying the client to appointments and outings
Providing companionship and day-to-day support
The role involves long day shifts and 24-hour shifts with a sleepover, working on a rota. Flexibility to cover additional shifts during staff holidays or sickness would be appreciated.

A good communicator with a caring attitude
Previous care, brain injury or moving & handling experience is an advantage but not essential. Full training will be provided.
