Part-Time Personal Assistant – Set Hours

We are looking for a caring, compassionate and committed female Personal Assistant to join our small and friendly care team.

• Regular hours available: approximately 50 hours per month

Week one: 12 hours

• Wednesday: 16:00–20:00
• Thursday: 16:00–20:00

Week Two: 11.5 hours

• Thursday: 16:00–20:00
• Saturday : 10.30-18.00

There may also be opportunities for additional hours depending on the needs of the service and staff availability.

Bank Personal Assistant – Flexible Hours

We are also looking for Bank Personal Assistants to join our team. This is a flexible role for someone who would like to pick up additional shifts when available.

Bank staff do not have guaranteed hours, but there may be opportunities to work additional shifts depending on the needs of the service and your availability.

This could be ideal for someone looking for flexible work alongside another job, studies, family commitments or other responsibilities.

About the Role

The role involves supporting a 22-year-old woman with a learning disability and additional health needs. She communicates non-verbally using gestures, facial expressions, symbols and a VOCA (Voice Output Communication Aid).

Support includes personal care, feeding, mobility and helping her enjoy activities and days out. She loves swimming, music, dancing, walks, trips out, books and jigsaws.

We are looking for someone who is:

Experience of working with people with additional communication needs is preferred, but training will be provided.

A full UK driving licence is essential as the role involves using a Motability vehicle.

We are based in Wylam, Northumberland, approximately 20 minutes from Newcastle, with good rail and bus links.
