Personal Assistant – JSKTS Needed in Stockton-on-Tees

Hours: 15 hours per week

Pattern: 3 hours per day, 5 days per week

Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

A friendly and caring Personal Assistant is required to support an elderly couple who live independently in Stockton-on-Tees.

The wife has limited mobility and would benefit from companionship, encouragement, and support to access social activities, hobbies, and trips out. The husband is fit and healthy but would appreciate some memory support, gentle prompting, and encouragement with day-to-day routines.

The couple are looking for someone kind, reliable, and proactive, who can use their initiative and respond to what is needed in each situation.

Main Duties

The role may include:

• Overseeing the diary and supporting with medical appointments
• Helping with food shopping, meal planning, and fridge management
• Some meal preparation when required
• Medication prompts when needed
• Supporting and encouraging hobbies and social events
• Light domestic duties around mealtimes
• Supporting mobility and prescribed exercises provided by the physiotherapist
• Possible limited personal care, although carers attend each morning and evening to support the lady

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A full UK driving licence
• Access to their own car
• A caring, friendly, and patient approach
• The ability to use initiative and work independently
• Good communication and organisational skills
