I manage the day to day running of the Service Team. The Service Team provide information and advice on a wide range of disability issues, including Welfare Benefits, Independent Living and Direct Payments. We provide help and support to disabled people of any age, the families of disabled people, carers, health care professionals or anyone with an interest in disability issues. I have been involved in managing teams within the advice sector for over 10 years, and I am also a welfare benefits specialist.
I continue to be involved in providing welfare benefits advice and representing disabled people at welfare benefits tribunal appeals. I am also involved in visiting disability groups, disability charities and health care professionals throughout the North East, to provide information and advice on disability issues.
