Personal Assistant – JUNT Needed in Forest Hall

10 to 20 hours per week – negotiable and flexible. Will include some evening and weekend times

I am a 45-year-old female lone parent to a 5-year-old child, I am seeking a compassionate, reliable Personal Assistant to support me in my home.

I am a qualified therapist/ counsellor, but I am currently unable to work because I live with ME (Myalgia Encephalomyelitis) and POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). These are long-term, fluctuating, energy-limiting conditions that affect stamina, mobility, and my ability to remain upright for extended periods. Symptoms vary from day to day, so your flexibility and understanding are very important.

My daughter is a fun, lively, intelligent devoted but quite demanding child who is in the early stages of diagnosis of what is probably ADHD. Your relationship with her and understanding of her needs will also be vital.

We are a warm, creative, and friendly household, and we value kindness, patience, humour, and clear communication. Consistency and stability are important to us, so I am looking for someone who would ideally like a longer-term role.

In summary, this role would suit someone warm, flexible, emotionally attuned, and confident enough to take the lead when needed, helping to create a steady and supportive home environment.
